Faith has the power to transform your life in remarkable ways. It can lead to personal growth and a renewed sense of purpose.
The Power of Prayer
All of these steps can be achieved just by prayer. It’s not hard and you can’t do it wrong. It’s about the relationship between you and your heavenly father. I can say for certain that while growing personally, God and I get pretty deep.
You can tell Him things that you would never dream of telling another living soul. Tell Him ALL of your secrets! How hard life is, how much of a struggle it is to just want to get out of bed! Be as open as you can be with Him and it gets easier as time goes on. Soon, you will be hearing Him talk back. That’s when it gets interesting 🙂
Personal Journey Through Struggle
If it weren’t for my faith, I truly don’t think I would be interested in gardening or canning like I am. As I prayed, a mental weight was lifted off of my shoulders. There was space in my mind for something else.
After having a seizure, it always changed my mood. When they started coming more and more, I would always feel completely devastated and depressed. I wouldn’t pray right then. When I woke up the next morning and felt a little like myself, God and I would talk. I wasn’t always nice but He has big shoulders and He loves me so I know He listened. I can’t tell you how much that helps!!
Finding Peace in His Presence
We also talked before each of my surgeries. It helps to know, that no matter where I am, He is also.
